While at Inkwenkwezi, take a drive on the wild side.

Climb on board a Land Rover, get comfortable and enjoy as one of their many seasoned Game Rangers to take you on a tour, get you lost and found again in these tranquil and majestic surroundings.


Walk on the wild side and enjoy the outdoors. Come and explore the beauty of the reserve on foot. Enjoy a guided hike through the reserve with one of our trained guides. Your guide will inform you on the ecology, fauna, flora, bird and wild life in the reserve.
This 3 hour excursion departs daily and bookings are essential. It is a wonderful outing for all ages and fitness levels. Good walking shoes are recommended and remember to bring your camera, hats and sunblock in summer and a warm jacket for trip in winter. Enjoy the beauty of nature in the sunshine and fresh air.


Experience a canoe leisure down the tidal estuary down towards the Glen Eden beach . Experience canoeing like no other starting in the Reserve and making your way back up the estuary to complete the course.

Visitors are taken on a journey into the world of the African elephant and are guided through an unforgettable experience with these magnificent creatures. Visitors will receive an Educational Talk about Elephants with our own Elephants as visual aids.
The encounter with elephants you experience at The Elephant Sanctuary truly is one of a kind. When meeting them you will discover that each one has a different character, personality and temperament.
